LOCO SWIMMING

The leisure pool isn’t ready yet, but the lap pool at the Rec Center is now open. Noontime masters will start again at the Rec Center on Tuesday, September 22.

With the Rec Center pool opening, Centennial Pool is switching back to “normal” hours. Starting Monday, September 21 the pool will not open until 6:00 am. We’ll be back to standing outside waiting to get in Monday-Wednesday-Friday for morning masters.

With Sunset Pool being closed for the season, Saturday masters will be at Centennial at 7:00 am starting this Saturday, September 19. Not 8:00 am like we did all summer. Not 6:00 am like weekdays. SEVEN A.M.

Today was our last swim outdoors until next year. Assuming that the pump at Centennial Pool doesn’t blow up again, we should be back to our regular schedule in the weekday mornings next week.

SATURDAY MORNINGS SWITCH BACK TO 7 AM START — at Centennial.

Progress of the Rec Center pool upgrade does not appear to be ahead of schedule. Planned opening is Friday, September 18. That means there will be NO NOON MASTERS until Tuesday, September 22.

Sunset Pool closes for the season Sunday, September 13. We have one more outdoor swim at Sunset — Saturday, September 12 @ 8 am.

Centennial Pool opened Friday afternoon (September 11), so we’ll be back there on Monday, September 14.

Centennial Pool is still closed. It is projected to re-open Friday afternoon (9/11/2026). In the meantime, Friday morning masters (9/11/2026) will be at Sunset Pool.
