Centennial Pool is currently closed “indefinitely” following a mishap in the mechanical room.
It’s been great swimming outside at Sunset pool this summer, but it’s dark and chilly at 6:00 am this time of year. What’s going to happen in the next few weeks?
The Rec Center pool is has 6 lanes, but they’re narrow.
The city council is contemplating building a new pool and ice center, but the earliest a funding issue will be put on the ballot is 2019. Assuming the ballot issue passes, it will be years before the new pool is built.
