Think good thoughts for Todd and Zach as they embark on the Horsetooth 10K on Sunday, September 9. That’s 10,000 meters, folks. In open water. With no drafting.
The website claims that the water temp was a balmy 66 degrees on Saturday, 9/1. Hopefully nothing has drastically changed since then.
I haven’t heard from anyone else doing this swim. The 10K race is closed, but if you are interested, registration is still open for the shorter races (2.4 mile / 1.2 mile).

LOCO SWIMMING 
Way to go, guys! Zach won his age group, and Todd just missed the upper division of his age group in the 10k. Scott got 3rd in his age group in the 1.2 mile.
