Masters swimming will be starting at Sunset Pool starting Monday, June 22! Just like everything else these days, there will be limitations:
BY RESERVATION ONLY
- If you don’t reserve a spot in advance, you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE POOL.
- Go to the Longmont Rec website and search for activity 300303
- Reservations are allowed up to 7 days in advance.
- We are allowed 3 people per lane.
YOU MUST WEAR A MASK
- Keep your mask on until you’re ready to get in the pool.
NO EARLY BIRDS OR LAGGARDS
- You cannot arrive early and you cannot stay late!
- For weekday morning masters: Arrive after 6 and be out by 7.
- For noontime masters: Arrive after 12 and be out by 12:45
- For Saturday morning masters: Arrive after 6:45 and be out by 7:45.
BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT
- You won’t be allowed to use kick boards or pull buoys from the pool
- You should not share equipment.
LIMITED SHOWERS
- Changing rooms will be open.
- Use of lockers is NOT permitted.
- Showers are available for use, but remember time will be tight.
I’ll be working on some ideas on how to keep us moving and separated.
