We’re going to try something new this year. Rather than bounce between Sunset and Centennial over a couple weeks, it’s going to be simple.
Outside at Sunset through Saturday, September 2.
No masters Monday, September 4 (Labor Day holiday)
Inside at Centennial starting Tuesday, September 5.

Centennial Pool is going to be closed for a week starting May 22, so we’re moving outside a week earlier than usual.
Next week:
Morning masters Monday – Wednesday – Friday is at Sunset, 6 – 7 am. We get four lanes (same as if we were indoors)
Noon masters moves from the Rec Center to Sunset starting Tuesday, May 23. Sessions are Tuesday – Thursday at Sunset, 12 – 1 pm.
There is no morning masters over Memorial Day weekend. No workout Saturday, May 27 or Monday, May 29.
We hop back inside for one last morning session at Centennial on Wednesday, May 31. Then we resume our regular schedule at Sunset starting Friday, June 2.

How are you celebrating the start of 2023? How about a swim? We have no schedule changes for this coming weekend. That means normal workout Saturday morning (12/31) and Monday morning (1/2). Get a jump start on you new year’s resolutions and come for a swim!
We’ve been hearing news about an impending opening of Centennial Pool for a few weeks. The last story in the Times-Call was a month ago and said the target opening date was January 30, 2019. The last posting on the city website is from more than two weeks ago does not mention an opening date. My understanding is that there is one more high-stakes diagnostic test yet to be run that could impact the schedule, but I haven’t heard any more about it. Basically I’m posting to say I don’t have anything new to say.
Know that as soon as I know what the plan is, I’ll make sure that you know. ‘K?
