In case you didn’t know, the Mega Millions lottery jackpot is up to $1.2 billion. The jackpot is projected to be up to $1.6 billion by next Tuesday night’s drawing. If you buy a ticket and win, promise to set aside a few million for a new Longmont pool. I’m sure Brian will let you name the facility anything you want.

Chilled but happy
The air temperature dropped below 40 degrees this morning. I can’t tell you exactly what the water temperature was, but I’d guess 82. I thought I’d document those that attended so they can claim bragging rights.
At least until Wednesday when it’s supposed to be REALLY cold.

Thanks to gallon Ziploc bags, you can make many things water resistant. Unfortunately, this was the only clock we had today, since the big pace clock is afraid of water these days.

I love how coaches in this sport are always trying to figure out a new way to get the message across. I saw this video a couple days ago and it made me giggle.
We have another week!
Sunset Pool will be open for at least another week, according to the city website. As of today, the close date for Sunset Pool is Sunday, October 14.
It really comes down to the weather. If the weather stays mild, we could get another extension. However, if the weather gets erratic or cooler, then the pool will close.
That means the last morning masters session is Saturday, October 13.
