The noon-time masters were brave enough to head to Sunset last week, but now it’s the morning masters’ turn.

Monday, June 6 at 6:00 am

Wow! Feels great to have all this space and light at Centennial Pool! Eighteen swimmers in four spacious lanes.

They are still doing a little clean up work on the deck, but it didn’t get in our way.

Centennial is scheduled to open Tuesday, May 14! This is what May/June looks like:

Morning masters (MWFS):

• Will hit all three pools in the next month (LRC => Centennial => Sunset)
• Will remain at LRC through Monday, May 13
• At Centennial starting Wednesday, May 15.
• No morning masters during Memorial Day weekend
  • Saturday, May 25 – no workout
  • Monday, May 27 – no workout
• No morning masters during Triathlon Weekend
  • Saturday, June 1 – no workout
• Moves to Sunset starting Monday, June 3.

Noon-time masters (TTh):

• Will remain at LRC through Thursday, May 24.
• Does not move to Centennial.
• Moves to Sunset the day after Memorial Day (Tuesday, May 28).

Beginning masters (TTh):

• Will remain at LRC

Thanks to all that attended Tuesday night’s Longmont City Council meeting in support of a new pool and ice center. Special thanks to the masters that took to the podium — Meagan, Rich, Ed, Mindy, Megan, Beejoy, Dana. There were likely others, but I forgot to take notes, and it’s past my bedtime! We’re going to make this happen! Thank you!
