I got the following message today. Be warned.

Centennial Pool will be replacing the roof top facility heating unit beginning Tuesday, Jan 17, through Friday, Jan 20. 

These are the heaters primarily responsible for the air temperature in the locker rooms, lobby, fitness and observation rooms.

During the week of Jan 16, the locker rooms, lobby, fitness and observation rooms will be colder than normal. 

The pool deck, pool, and showers, will remain at normal temperatures.

Patrons are welcome to shower at Centennial the week of Jan 16, but the locker rooms may be REALLY cold.  You may wish to make arrangements to shower elsewhere as temperatures present.

Centennial Pool won’t open until 9 am on Black Friday, so there will be NO MASTERS on Friday, November 25.

If you need to get your swim on, the Rec Center will be open.

If you didn’t come swim this morning, you missed a fun one. Each circuit consisted of a drill or kick in each of the 6 lanes. Each circuit completed gave you a chance to draw for a prize.

Cold, drizzly conditions on Saturday.
