It’s coming soon. Perhaps as early as next week.
Not back to normal. Not even back to “new normal.”
But better.
Stay tuned.

For those that have been swimming: Do you need a new workout? Do you have any special requests? Give me a shout and I’ll write something up.

Having trouble getting a lap lane? Well, desperate times call for desperate measures. Have you considered swimming in the diving well? There are four spots allotted to the diving well! Search for code 100204.

You can try swimming back and forth (it’s about 15 yards long) or you can try swimming circles (close to 50 yards if you don’t cut the corners). Or you can try this workout sequence that I wrote up. It’s a sequence of bobs, vertical kicking, and pushups (everyone’s favorite!).
If you give it a try, let me know what you think.
You want change? You got change.
As of Friday, Boulder County is in Level Red. With that change, Centennial Pool is limited to 10 people in the building at a time. Who’s non-essential at this point? THE COACH!
There will be no coach on deck for masters swim sessions as long as we are limited to one single swimmer per lane. If I were to guess, we need to drop back down for Level Yellow before we are allowed three swimmers per lane again.
Pool staff will be able to print workouts from the “Recent Workouts” page of this site for you to follow. If you crave some level of control, I suggest that you find one that you like and print it out, and bring it with you.
Crazy times, folks. Hang in there.
Well, well, well. I was afraid of this.
Being limited to 10 swimmers per workout seemed a little extreme, but I knew it could get worse. And it did. We’ve been capped at one swimmer per lane.
Weekday mornings: 4 lanes => 4 swimmers
Saturday mornings: 6 lanes => 6 swimmers
These caps apply as of Saturday, November 7, 2020. Anyone who signed up over that cap should get an email stating that you’ve lost your reservation for the session(s).
Sorry for the bad news.
