I am curious about this log-rolling business, but still haven’t tried it. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
The city has heard back from the insurance company and has an estimate for required repairs ($400k!). Repair work could start next week and complete by the end of January. If the story in the Times-Call is behind a pay wall, you can read an update from the city here.
This rolled by in one of the Facebook groups I’m in.
I recall that someone at a city council meeting mentioned this as a resource, but I haven’t heard anything since. (I’m out of the loop.) Does anyone know anyone powerful that might be able to get one or more people to one of these conferences?
There’s a conference scheduled in the Denver area November 2019, but that isn’t soon enough!
Full house this morning! Seventeen masters in 3 lanes. The three remaining lanes had as many as many as 9 lap swimmers during the hour, so there was no room to spare. And Pete/Santa was on deck to greet us!
Friday morning’s workout started with swims where the slower pace group in the lane took a short break to let the faster pace group go by. Then we had 25s so we could stop worrying about counting laps.
Did this set work for you? I got a couple of positive comments. Don’t be afraid to let me know if you had a bad experience with the way I set up a set; I really want to know. I can’t catch everything that happens from up on the deck.
It’s taking more brain power to write these types of workouts, but I hope it helps people feel like there’s a place for them. Together we can make this work!
