I’m still out of town, so I won’t be around for the first Friday morning at the LRC. I’m dying to know how it goes. Can someone provide a report?

==========
Oh, no! It’s closed!
With the impending freezing temperatures, Sunset Pool is CLOSED for the season.
Don’t ask me what comes next because I don’t know.
I am traveling for my day job through the end of this week. I hope everything is resolved (and we have 50 meter indoor facility) by the time I return Friday.
Chilled but happy
The air temperature dropped below 40 degrees this morning. I can’t tell you exactly what the water temperature was, but I’d guess 82. I thought I’d document those that attended so they can claim bragging rights.
At least until Wednesday when it’s supposed to be REALLY cold.
Twelve people in the water getting it done.

Rebecca feigning enthusiasm.

Megan and Lauri staying low in the water in lane 1.

Ryan and Lee swimming gold in lane 2.

Dwayne, Rebecca, and Shawn swimming silver in lane 3. Shawn is mentally already on a beach in Indonesia.

Hillari and Dan swimming bronze today in lane 4.

Yinn, Jim and Jeff swimming iron in lane 5.

Thanks to Pete, we have a toasty-warm heater during the workout.

Thanks to gallon Ziploc bags, you can make many things water resistant. Unfortunately, this was the only clock we had today, since the big pace clock is afraid of water these days.
